Wang Bu Liu Xing is grown in northeastern China. It is dry-fried until it puffs. Tradition holds that dry-frying increases the herb's ability to move blood and disperse stasis. It is applied to such disorders as menstrual block or menstrual irregularity or pain, breast swelling and engorgement, urinary tract stones and chronic prostatitis or enlarged prostate.
