We are pleased to offer humanely raised Elk Antler Velvet (Lu Rong Mi, Cervus Canadensis) as an alternative to Deer Antler Velvet.

Our Elk Antler Velvet is from a ranch in Minnesota. The elk live on open grazing land and antlers are humanely harvested once a year under the direction of a veterinarian. The antler is cut with minimal handling and stress to the animals. The ranch is monitored by the MN Board of Animal Health and is registered with the North American Elk Breeders Association.

We also test the antlers for micro-organisms. A CoA can be provided upon request.

Elk and Deer Antler may be used interchangeably. The typical dose is 1-2 grams per day as pills or powder. It is often taken as a powder along with a strained decoction of the other herbs in the formula (沖服chong fu). Elk Antler makes a great ingredient in herb wine.
